One of my favorite places in The Hague is Lily’s Bubble Tea & Coffee. It recently opened in the Royal District and is the perfect mix of traditional Asian bubble tea flavors, Instagram aesthetics, and nice personnel. The menu includes different types of milk tea, fruit tea, matcha lattes, and coffee. They also serve seasonal drinks and croffles (a type of Korean waffle with either sweet or savory toppings). The drinks are well-balanced, as there is the right amount of tapioca pearls for the drink, which are soft and chewy. I love matcha lattes and the matcha at Lily’s is of good quality. So, all the elements make it a tasty drink.
I love to swing by and buy a bubble tea to drink during a nice walk through the neighborhood, as it is situated in a nice street with small shops and the palace gardens are around the corner. So, the entire experience is just lovely.
There is no elevator, so you have to walk the entire way up, but the view is lovely, as you can see the Binnenhof and the surrounding areas, it is definitely worth a visit.

The people of Piet Artisans of Flavour are what the name promises—artisans. They have many flavours including vegan ice-cream options and a tasting menu.

When you order the dishes you like to share, they put the dishes in the order that will give you the best experience. The food is amazing and so inspiring!

De Kwartel caters to all needs, be it breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner or evening drinks. Sit outside with your feet in the sand and a beer in hand.

Pompernikkel is where you walk past in the mornings, spontaneously grab a coffee, devour an artisanal pastry, and bump into your neighbours.

They have almost 200 kinds of different beers, and they organize events, like pub quizzes, so it is a good spot to hang around with friends.

"Bookstor" is a real treasure in the heart of The Hague. It's a place where people gather to share stories and play music or have a coffee & a bite to eat.

It is always busy at Viswinkel de Lange and as it is quite a small shop it can feel like you are like sardines in a can, which fits the theme somehow.

Another of my favorite places to visit during a stroll through Scheveningen is the Meteotoren, a sensational viewpoint that offers a 360-degree view of many different sights of The Hague.

Have you ever heard of specialty chocolate? Single origin, bean-to-bar, craft chocolate — that’s what they promise and that’s what they deliver!

The large "Haagse Bos" natural area is where the royal family currently resides in The Hague. It's nice for a walk around and to see the Huis ten Bosch...

"Dungelmann" makes the most famous croquette in The Hague. Having a 'kroket' there is one of the local customs you absolutely have to try!
