One of my favorite places in The Hague is Lily’s Bubble Tea & Coffee. It recently opened in the Royal District and is the perfect mix of traditional Asian bubble tea flavors, Instagram aesthetics, and nice personnel. The menu includes different types of milk tea, fruit tea, matcha lattes, and coffee. They also serve seasonal drinks and croffles (a type of Korean waffle with either sweet or savory toppings). The drinks are well-balanced, as there is the right amount of tapioca pearls for the drink, which are soft and chewy. I love matcha lattes and the matcha at Lily’s is of good quality. So, all the elements make it a tasty drink.
I love to swing by and buy a bubble tea to drink during a nice walk through the neighborhood, as it is situated in a nice street with small shops and the palace gardens are around the corner. So, the entire experience is just lovely.

Try the “Loft breakfast” between 10:00 and 11:30 for a delicious, nourishing start to the day. If you’re swinging by later, make sure to try out the “Loftini” cocktail.

The place is stylish yet comfy, and the staff make you feel welcome. Most importantly, their pastries look exquisite and they make their own boterkoek!
