Giannoula (the owner's name), is a place near the church of Agios Dimitrios, in the center of the town. Up from Aristotelous square, there is Giannoula, the heaven for the fans of Greek cuisine, with simple and delicious dishes.
The spot is not very big, but good enough for you and your friends to have a lunch, listen to music, and drink your beer or wine.
The music is the other special thing in this place. A old jukebox, with Kazantzidis (old Greek singer) makes Giannoula a unique spot.
I like the fried pork bites, the salads, and seriously, I like the entire menu. Giannoula is the correct place for those who like simple Greek foods, the tastes of Greek cuisine and a friendly place to eat their lunch.
We usually go there with friends, at noon, and you can find us still there at night. After eating the delicious dishes, we start drinking wine or beers, and as we listen to the music from the jukebox, the time passes.
It's a homey atmosphere with cheap, but also good food.
