The hotel and restaurant “Chateau Fasel” is located in Dajt Mountain, about 15 minutes from Tirana center. Although the route is unpaved at specific spots, it is accessible by car.

Chateau Fasel offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge, and a garden. Lately, during summer nights, they organize these open-air cinema nights and live concerts with different Albanian singers.

Chateau sets itself apart for its location, placed in the middle of nature, surrounded by lakes, mountains and olive groves, distinguished by panoramic views and traditional Albanian food.

I went there with my friends on an open-air cinema night. The entrance was free of charge, but you must reserve a table one or more days in advance. They have some great big yellow and red bean sofas with some small round tables beside them.
You can also get something to eat before or during the movie. They have a small food and beverage menu. The nights are a little chilly there, so it’s a good idea to dress warmly.
They post weekly on their Instagram for more information on movies, concerts, and other events. Besides that, you can dine at their restaurant or stay at their hotel, which boasts a spectacular view. I haven’t tried the restaurant or the hotel experience there but I should say that the movie nights at Fasel have turned them into my favorite kind of summer nights with friends.
