Kapelet Tirana
1500 hats above your head
“Kapelet” or Hats is a new restaurant that's putting together the traditional and the modern! It is in Tirana near Dajt Mountain area. You can find its location easily on Google Maps!
The name of the restaurant, Kapelet, comes from its interior, there are 1500 hats placed on the ceiling.
Kapelet has an amazing view over the city of Tirana from above! During the night, you can see the lights of the city. Some nights you can enjoy a live band performing there!
The food is traditional and the restaurant operates without a menu. I personally don't like this part, I would like to know what is there to taste and the prices beforehand.
Besides that, the food was actually well cooked: they offered a typical salad and some cold and hot antipasti, which included some food from all territories of Albania. Then we could choose between three options of meat, which I should say I enjoyed a lot! In the end, you may choose a dessert - I tried the baklava with almonds and it was so delicious!!! Try it and you will thank me later, or not! :)
The service was great, fast and very polite!
For those interested in going, I should say that the prices are normal for the Tirana area. Also, you can take great photos which is a plus for me and my Instagram! :) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
