Lucky Lounge Bar has a really cute small-town feel to it; you’ll often find groups of guys chatting over a coffee first thing in the morning or over a beer and some snacks as the day goes on. It is clear that it has become a real local haven in recent months. Unlike a lot of Tirana, as Lucky Lounge is situated just outside of the main tourist area in ‘Selvia’, it definitely has a quieter vibe and feels like a locals' bar. However, this is not to say that tourists would not be made to feel very welcome; the bar is run by friends who make sure that everyone feels at home.
The bar is very spacious, and the décor is clean and modern, making it a very inviting place to spend a couple of hours, if you’re visiting around the time of any international sporting events, they will arrange the furniture around the screens so that everyone can get a good view.
Every experience I have had at Lucky Lounge has been lovely, and I would really recommend for the visitors to Tirana to just walk that extra five minutes out of the centre past Pazari I Ri to experience some of the other parts of the city. A locals bar is always worth it in my eyes, as you never know who you’ll meet!
