Turin has a lot of green spots between its jammed streets and big, old buildings and a lot of great trees and running and biking routes especially by the river. In spring a lot of new choreographic flowers are ready to be admired and photographed.
Among them you can also find beautiful recycled statues. Telling stories, living their magical or normal life.
At Parco del Valentino, the bigger one, there is a great romantic spot: it’s called “Giardino roccioso”. A beautiful mix of rocks, maples, perfect grass and fountains.
There you can find the most romantic couple of Turin: a couple of sweetly embraced street lamps enjoying their spare time romantically sighing on a green bench.
In Piazza Castello and Piazza Carlo Alberto there are new installation to visit. Fairies, books and butterflies are always present.
But I want to talk about my favorite: Giardini Lamarmora in via Cernaia. I will mention the heart-shaped bushes near two benches.
In the past there was only a lonely dapper gentleman. Then a lovely lady arrived on the bench. They travelled on a white bicycle.
Today what remains of them is an impression of a kiss in a window. Like a stained-glass window without the glass.
Thank you, Rodolfo the gardener. From the bottom of our hearts.
