Here comes my favorite lunch-on-the-go spot.
If you walk in a hurry, without watching the "panorama", the people and things in your surroundings, you're the perfect candidate to pass by this spot.
It's really small: a fridge, the work station and some (6 maximum) places to sit and eat/wait for your meal.
They serve 22cm long paninis (steam-cooked) with a great amount of recipes available written on a huge chalkboard on the wall. I work nearby, so I usually order and take away.
I always choose the menu: a 22cm panino, a small sweet panino (you can choose from the menu) and a beverage. And It's 7 euros for a big load of food.
I can't recommend you any savory panino in particular because you can also compose It with your favorite ingredients and have it your way.
Or I suggest asking the two nice owners.
They work hard and run fast, but are really careful, kind, and remember clients.
You can also order using Whatsapp and just pay and take your order from the shop when It's ready.
They have also a special panino of the month and salads (you can compose them too).
I just have to say that I had a Proustian moment when I ate their sweet panino filled with butter and sugar. It's a common snack stuck in every Italian child's memories.
Suddenly I was back in my granparents' house.
It's very close to Porta Susa station. So... I told you!
