I fell in love with rooftop terraces in Rome, where "apperitivo" is a kind of art that forms an integral part of the Italian "dolce vita". I am glad I have found a wonderful rooftop in Valencia that could really compete with the ones in the Eternal city. "Luna de Valencia" is located on the fifth floor of Hotel Puerta Serranos, with a minute walking to Serranos Tower — an iconic symbol of Valencia.
There is almost a 360 view over the city with the picturesque Turia River and Pont de Fusta as well as the Tower of St.Lorenzo Church, the Tower of Parroquia de Santisma Cruz and surely Serranos Towers.
The rooftop provides the greatest opportunity to enjoy the sunset with the different colors and lighting all around. The menu is not long but there are wines, cocktails, beers available and some snacks too. The music is quiet, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. What do you need more for a "dolce far niente"?
