Venice is certainly known for the early morning walks one can take between all its narrow “calli” and canals; for its “cicchetti”, the most iconic and typical finger food one’s lunch can be stylishly treated to; for the afternoons spent in one of Venice’s uncountable museums of art, history, nature and so on; for its evenings enjoyed sipping an aperitivo in front of a cream-colored sunset.
But what about nighttime? Venice is a very important university centre of the Italian peninsula. Many students move here to start their academic journey in numerous fields of study, such as economics, architecture, design, languages and so on. And apart from Campo Santa Margherita, the very centre of Venice’s student nightlife, the island is not able to provide its pupils with discotheques or nightclubs. Here is why I am suggesting Anda Venice.
Located a few steps from Venice Mestre train station, therefore at 15 minutes distance by train and bus from Venice island, this hostel is not only a dormitory for many expats coming from all over the world, but also a very important centre where they organise events of all kinds every day of the week such as live music concerts, bingos, exhibitions, and last but not least DJ sets.
With its urban yet very artistic and innovative design, Anda Venice is the place where Venice’s nightlife is still present and wants to keep being heard.
