Some of the best things in life are simple! So is true with Asian street food. And luckily, Vienna is getting more and more easy street food places that give you a taste of the rich Asian cuisines. The small and quaint Banh Mi Hoi An close to the Naschmarket area is one of those.
This Vietnamese restaurant offers simple lunch menus that I recently tried out. The chicken-bamboo shoots I had were tasty and delicious. The friendly waiter is quick and helpful (he immediately served water for my dog without asking). It made me want to come back again soon to dig into the rest of the rich menu, from the appetizers to the noodle soup "pho". Although a very casual setting, it is a great option for any time of the day. If you are looking for a quick fix, an exotic snack at a decent price this small restaurant is the way to go.
