This is a cafe that spreads a wonderful message to society. Pirmas Blynas translated from Lithuanian means ‘‘first pancake“; it is a social pancake restaurant located in the centre of Vilnius. I love the idea of the restaurant: it is a place that employs people with disabilities. There aren’t many places like this in Lithuania, so it is a great initiative!
Pirmas Blynas offers a great range of pancakes, you can choose from sweet and savory. Also you will find some vegetarian and vegan options, if needed. The pancakes are really huge and filling. I would recommend you try out the pancake with mozzarella and tomatoes.
For families with children: this place is perfect for you, because the restaurant has a special playground for children.
Keep in mind that this is a new spot in Vilnius, so it might get crowded. Make sure you book a table in advance.
If you get to pay a visit Pirmas Blynas, do not forget to visit VU Planetariumas (check out the article!) as well, it is located in the same building as Pirmas Blynas!
