It is the industrial style of interior decoration that makes Ožujsko Pub Maxi a unique place for the gathering of fans of beer and a good time. With a specially designed space, different musical events, the right pub food and a superb range of beers from a large assortment of Zagreb Brewery, the first conceptual Ožujsko pub combines three main concepts - friends, sports and music in one new urban space for socializing and entertainment. It is the second establishment by Zagreb brewery (I wrote about the other one, Pivana) with one slight difference – it is just 15 minutes on foot from my house :-).
Now the important stuff – beer and food. I’ve already mentioned their great selection of beers but the menu is what makes me jump high in the air! It is a simple two sided paper with an offer of soups, appetizers, main dishes, burgers and desserts perfectly engineered to my taste.
Finally, there is one thing especially cool to me as a hobby-musician. Inside the pub there is a stage where instruments are placed that you are free to use if you want something to play or sing. The main idea of this musical concept is a revival of the almost forgotten custom of playing guitar with your friends while enjoying a nice, cold beer.
