Yes, I’m a big fan of that awesome sport, and this spot is one of the best places to get your game on. Located in the famous Parc Jeanne-Mance near the mountain, you can choose between two types of surfaces; fast (Bitumen-bound aggregate) or slow (resin-bound coating). You need to call the day before to make a reservation, but you can also show up and hope for a cancellation and get lucky, something that my partners and I do often. Your chances will obviously be better during the daytime. It’s a very inspiring spot to play tennis; the view is just perfect, depending which side you’re on.
If you need help with your kick serve or backhand, Thierry is the guy who can help (514.970.9829). Make sure to bring enough water and a cap; on a hot day you might just melt on the court, I’ve seen this before and it’s not a pretty sight!
The courts are open from May to October but on rainy days, you can always play inside at Jarry parc. Love.
Note : the courts are in renovation mode and will be available later in 2017. Another great option is Parc Lafontaine; they also have pretty good courts.
