Some time ago Rotterdam didn’t have a proper music hall. People from Rotterdam were forced to travel outside the city to see musicians and concerts. Fortunately for us, those dark days are long gone. Annabel opened its doors a few years ago in the backyard of Bar and Biergarten. Since then those three together are known as the golden triangle - A perfect spot for anyone who likes music, drinks and fun times.
Annabel has a wonderful music and light installation which are ideal for the wildest shows. Almost every night during the weekend musicians from across the world perform and treat the public on a crazy night. Music styles range from electronic music to rock, so something for everybody. But besides a music hall, Annabel is a café were you could have some small meals at the sunny terrace. I guess you could call this place multifunctional.
Annabel is the spot for me to have a fun night out with all the dancing you could think of. On multiple occasions I suffered from some serious muscle pains, although it was definitely worth it. Have a look at the website to check their agenda and see your favorite artist. Remember: you can only pay by card at Annabel. Leave your cash at home and bring that plastic!
