Let's say that you're starting your passion project and working from your living room is a no-go. Or, you're travelling abroad but, during your holiday, getting work done is a must. Imagine that, in both cases, there's one problem: you've got no extra budget for a co-working space. Well, let me tell you, dear friend, I've been there, and I've got the solution for you. It goes by the name Seats2Meet.
Seats2meet is an organisation (should I say an ecosystem?) of co-work and meeting spaces where your knowledge is currency. This means that whether you can't afford to pay money for a spot whether you have other financial priorities, you can always pay with human capital. At Seats2meet you get offered a place to work plus a likeminded community and, in exchange, you're just expected to give back by helping other co-workers in your fields of expertise. You can do it on the spot or online. Don't get discouraged by the term "expertise". You don't need to be a master/doctor/ PhD laureate to be part of the community. Just help whenever you can.
The Netherlands has more than 90 locations (!) across the country where you can work, including Meet Berlage at the historical Beurs de Berlage (the first Stock Exchange building in town), right in the city centre of Amsterdam. So, no more ideas on hold. Amsterdam has been a centre for trade and innovation for centuries: get inspired and make stuff happen.
