Let me start this off by saying - I do not follow a gluten free diet. Not even close. But that's how good this place is. It's an adorable, little bakery located at Kingsway and Fraser, an area that has recently become a hot spot for food and art.
The shop itself is a clean, open space with a view of the bakers and kitchen. There are a few tables and chairs, toys for kids, and large, south facing windows that give it lots of bright light. On the counter is a selection of pastries, both sweet and savory and my favourite are the vegan hand pies, sort of a mix between a jamaican patty and a samosa. I'm not a vegan either. They're just that good.
Maybe it's because they're gluten free, but all the pastries and breads are nice and light. They serve coffee and teas and it's really nice to come here with a friend and catch up. They also sell frozen pre-made breads and pies, as well as gluten-free mixes to make your own baked goods at home.
