Having just moved to Amsterdam East I'm super excited to explore lots of new spots to write about! Although I know this area well, there are always new places popping up and old places to rediscover. One of the first places that came to mind, which I have actually crossed town many times for, is Bar Bukowski. This cozy bar (as the Dutch would say, gezellig) is right on the corner between Beukenplein and the Oosterpark, and open all day until late.
They not only have good coffee (very important) and all-day breakfast, but also serve a selection of simple but yummy lunch dishes like soups, sandwiches, flammkuchen, and cakes.
In the evening it's the perfect place for a relaxed after-work drink (or two...) and as it gets later the bar area always fills up. It can get especially busy on weekends, so if you go there late don't expect to be able to sit down. The bar area is also adjacent to Henry's cocktail bar... more on that spot later!
So, go there in the morning for coffee and then have a walk in the park, sit out and catch some (winter) sun on the terrace in the afternoon, or step into the bustling bar for drinks to start or end your night in Amsterdam East.

They serve lunch, dinner, and finger food. Their Burrata, which is optional all day, is my personal favorite. And my favorite beer is Saison Dupont.

The food here is amazing and that is really the reason locals go here. The menu has a lot of options but my favorites are the dim sum and the Peking duck.
