Hidden on a little street in the middle of the Jordaan is Divino - a small and cozy Italian wine bar. When walking past this bar you're immediately drawn in by the twinkling lights and cute tables outside which catch the late afternoon sun. Inside is small and intimate, with a bar to sit at and a few tables spread over the two levels. The upper level is built like a balcony, and because of the high ceilings the space feels quite open.
They serve a variety of Italian dishes, from small plates to share to mains. Things like bruschetta, burratta, meat and fresh pasta can we found on the changing seasonal menu. The wine selection is extensive and there are loads to try by the glass, and the cheese and meat platters are the perfect thing to go with it.
This is the perfect spot for a late afternoon glass of wine and a snack, a romantic dinner, or to end the evening with a nightcap after a walk along the canals.
