In need of an (iced) coffee, a moment of relaxation to read a newspaper or just some really good bread? Kometen is the place for you. As a bakery and cafe in one, they offer a space that has something for everyone! (A nice little rhyme). The cafe is located in Amsterdam Noord, close by the NDSM, which is an area known for its street art and artistic cafe's. Kometen, however, finds its place in one of the more modern buildings. This has its perks: the cafe is big and spacious and, with its high ceilings, you never feel cramped. There are tables for 2, 4 or more people. There are also designated spots to sit and work with a laptop, which is great. If you go here: make sure to eat an 'Uitsmijter', which is a simple but delicious Dutch dish that contains fried eggs, bread, cheese and salad. So to work or chill, this is your spot!
