Pong - House of Ping in Amsterdam is a spot where you can play table tennis while having a drink or enjoying a snack. I came across Pong Bar when a friend invited me to a small concert taking place in one of their rooms (they have several: a dining/bar room, a hallway, and a party room).
They also have darts, karaoke singing, and board games. Aaaand I was impressed! This is the perfect spot if you aim to do something different, going beyond the regular drink or snack (try out their Vietnamese spring rolls!) on a Friday night. I think that it is also a great spot for celebration with friends (like a birthday or gathering).
Pong - House of Ping organizes Friday funky evenings and tournaments, you can check their website or Instagram for the latest event information or reserve a table to play a game for 16 eur/hour (there’s a discount if you book less popular hours). The decor is artistic with walls decorated with board game boxes, a hanging helicopter at the entrance, and more. It’s located in a non-touristic area of Amsterdam but is easily reachable by tram (less than 20 mins from Leidseplein).
