Actually, my mum discovered this one and now it is a must each time she comes over to Amsterdam. Puccini's pralines are of the very finest quality: the best ingredients, surprising combinations -- the art of making chocolate :). They seem to be handmade, piece by piece.
I use them as my little guilty pleasure, sometimes when I'm downtown I just buy one of them as a special treat. Try Sereh, Sweet Pepper, Rhubarb, well, all of them are incredible. But be warned- the prices are exclusive, too: at €7.55/100g, just one praline already costs around €2. But it is worth every cent, and you can't have too many of them anyway...
Next door, they have a cafe with Italian sandwiches, little dishes, good coffee and delicious homemade cakes. Here the prices are more moderate and you can sit outside and enjoy watching passers-by on this gorgeous narrow street.
