Well, it's not that I'm constantly keeping up my yoga practice but I love a healthy lifestyle and I am blessed to have an extremely nice yoga school just around the corner. My favourite class is the physio-yoga given by Sina, one of the initiators and owners of the Yogaschool Noord. Being a physiotherapist originally, she gives special attention to one certain body part or 'theme' at a time. I have taken classes from several of the many teachers and they all had a lovely energy (besides their skills, of course).
The school feels like a place where everybody is welcome, never mind your age, gender, colour or physical condition. And the positive vibrations of the staff seem very sincere to me. Founded in 2013 in a typical working-class neighbourhood (where you might not expect too many yoga lovers), the concept was an overnight success, culminating in the opening of a second location at NDSM.
The school is open again, offering both physical and online classes!!!
