Au Revoir is the oldest bar in Athens. It began to operate in 1958. The interior has the signature of important architect Aristomenis Provelegios. Many actors, poets and artists of the 60's and 70's regularly visited this bar. Even Frank Sinatra came here.
Theodoros and Lysandros have been serving classic drinks for over 55 years. They were the main elements that made this place so special. Now Sotiris, the son of Lysandros, continues to keep the bar available to anyone who wants to spend a beautiful and atmospheric night. For me, Au Revoir is a capsule in space and time. As you pass the door, everything stays behind, and you are in a nostalgic place. A place with jazz and French sounds of music. The bar serves malt, Irish and bourbon whiskies. But the best is the Dry Martini Cocktail. You also can order coffee or some of the dishes.
Au Revoir is a very unique place. If you visit it, you will always have a beautiful memory. Cheers!
