Maybe Fish and Chips is not a local Spanish delicacy from Barcelona, but it is definitely proof that in this city you can find gastronomy from everywhere in the world!
The Fish and Chips Shop, as it names shows, offers the typical British dish with a Hindu twist. So if you are into this dish, you must really try it. For me, it is the best one I have ever had. The codfish is superb, it comes from the northern part of Spain and it is cooked with smoked tempura and corn flakes and so the breading is super crunchy. It really gives a more real, deeper flavor than traditional fish and chips.
The chips are homemade and spiced with spices from India and Pakistan, the origin of the owners.
The days when I’m not so much into fish and chips I have the calamari and chips or the avocado and chips, which is something I have never tried anywhere else but is absolutely worth it!
