Es Bien Brunch was another of those bold and courageous moves by two friends that decided to open a place with a (very) high quality of food and a lot of variety combined with some of the best customer service you can get in Barcelona - just not in the city center, where you see the usual, commonplace restaurants with little innovation and the standard tapas menu.
The place is spacious and works as a coffee shop with a morning menu in the beginning of the day and after that with a weekly menu on weekdays and a normal menu on weekends offering brunch, portions and tapas. The quantity of food is impressive (I love having lots of food in restaurants, so I am strict) and the ingredients are higher-tier quality.
The guys have became great friends of mine, and their specialty coffee should not be missed, either, so you will also be able to find them on BCNCOFFEEGUIDE MAP. They work with one of my favourite roasters, Familia Osorio and I go there at least once a week.
Their weekly menu is a MUST: for 12 euro you get a drink, two amanzingly elaborate dishes, dessert and a shot of espresso.
You can also do a coffee route there and in Fika Coffee, the other specialty coffee place I have posted here too!
