I know, I know, it sounds so mundane. Coop?! I'm sure you'll be saying: It's just a regular Swiss supermarket, you'll find it on every corner, how can she recommend it on «Spotted by Locals». But hear me out: It's fantastic!
You are hungry from all your shopping? Do not worry – in the food court you'll get freshly made bowls and sandwiches, salads, pasta or even great Indian food to take away (and for a reasonable price). You feel tired after all the sightseeing? Let's get an espresso at the coffee bar! You are thirsty after a summer day in the city? No problemo – Coop has a sweet selection of all kinds of drinks (water, soft drinks, smoothies and more). You feel snackish? There's also a regular supermarket where you can buy fruits and nuts, chocolates and chips or chocolate chip cookies.
You're still not convinced? There's a wine and beer shop on the first floor where you can buy your drink and then drink it in-house at one of the many tables or in one of the many cosy chairs which are spread all over the three floors (there's a couch IN the supermarket section, next to a refrigerator). It's wine o'clock somewhere, cheers!
