Kramer is one of my most visited restaurant/bars in Bern. It is located in the old town of Bern and can be easily reached on foot or by bus.
The restaurant offers the possibility to sit under the “Lauben” (arcades) or on the cobblestones of the old town while having a drink or something to eat. I really enjoy this option on sunny days but also feel comfortable inside the restaurant.
The Kramer is a place where you can meet a group of friends for a drink, enjoy a dinner with your significant other or sip a coffee with your grandmother. That's what I like so much about the Kramer: it is suitable for any occasion (even a six-hour studying session, true story).
I also cherish the choice of drinks and food. Apart from the standard offer consisting of sweet drinks, wine and coffee, there is the famous Länggass Tea, special beers and homemade ice tea. The food offer leaves nothing to be desired: various apéro platters, trendy poke bowls, tarte flambee and even breakfast can be ordered. My secret tip is the fondue of Chäshütte Bern, which can be enjoyed all year round.
The Kramer is a really beautiful restaurant with good service, tasty food and modern, homely furnishings. It is for people who like to spend their time in a simple but fashionable ambience with good food and nice drinks.
