In my opinion, Zsa-zsa Bar has its home in one of the most beautiful streets in Bern's old town: the Brunngasse. The alley is centrally located, yet quiet. Just like Zsa-zsa Bar.
Perhaps the smallest bar in Bern, it has room for a very limited group of people (I would say a maximum of fifteen) and has a wide range of alcoholic beverages in its repertoire. They serve wine and beer as well as cocktails.
You can make yourself comfortable at the bar, in a lounge or outside in the quiet alley. In summer I like to sit outside in front of the bar until it gets too cold.
The pleasant light and homely atmosphere harmonize well with the sea-inspired decoration. Small shells, starfish and sand are lovingly positioned. The atmosphere invites you to a cosy evening in a small circle. However, the bar is not suitable for talking about very personal topics. It is just too small not to listen. :)

Nature is claiming back the city - a powerful image. The mural was painted by Paul Stämpfli in 1987, way before the world was discussing climate change.

I especially like that they have about a dozen bottles by the glass and that they offer you to try several wines before you settle for a good drop.
