Tiny, welcoming, and intent on making the world both a better and tastier place, Gracie's is the cold, delicious heart of Union Square in Somerville. Gracie's creates amazing handmade ice cream the like of which you've never had, with ingredients like potato chips, leftover Halloween candy, and Somerville's very own marshmallow fluff. Gracie's has churned out over 150 flavors so far - in normal non-covid times, you can expect to see 6 "All the Time Flavors" and 6 rotating "Sometimes Flavors" when you walk in. Sweet Cream is my usual go-to, (along with their bright purple Ube which is a feast for your mouth AND your eyeballs), but I'm longing to try the Pop-tart and the Cornbread + Honey. Besides cups, cones, and pints, you can also order Gracie's sweatpants, fanny packs, and flamingo lawn ornaments for pick-up or local delivery. You can really feel all the love at Gracies - the fun and thought put into their flavors and merch, and the care they have for their community. Don't forget to get the Black Raspberry Chip.
Contactless ordering and payment done online at ordergracies.com.
