If you're familiar with Boston, you're probably familiar with Lansdowne Street. It's a strip of bars right across from Fenway Park, which makes it a big hit with tourists. However, despite being known as a tourist party spot, Lansdowne Street is actually a great place to go grab a drink with a few friends. Of all the bars on this street, Lansdowne Pub is definitely my favorite. Fun fact: this is actually where I first met my boyfriend!
Tip #1: If you're looking for a relaxed night, DON'T GO ON THE WEEKEND. It will be packed, there will probably be a line, and they usually have a cover charge. Feel free to ignore this advice, however, if you're into the "party scene" - I'm not big on crowded places, so I don't have enough energy to fight my way through the weekend swarms.
There are still tons of fun events at Lansdowne Pub during the week, however. Firstly, you can enjoy the fact that they serve Irish Breakfast ALL DAY, meaning you can nurse your hangover at any time! Additionally, they have Live Music Mondays, Spelling Bee Tuesday, and a ton of other special events. Check out their website calendar for more information!
