Located just between the Prudential Center and the Christian Science Center, the Reflecting Pool in Boston is a great place to take a break from sightseeing and just enjoy the view for a while. Whether you prefer sun or shade, there’s plenty of seating providing both, all with a wonderful view of the water, trees, flowers, and a picturesque church.
The Reflecting Pool is also a great place to grab a bite to eat. Most afternoons, there are several food trucks parked directly adjacent, where visitors can conveniently grab a beverage or gourmet snack to eat while enjoying the view. It gets more than a bit chilly in Back Bay now that the leaves are turning, so make sure to bring a warm jacket and a hot drink. Luckily, it is extremely close to many restaurants, hotels, and the Prudential Center Mall, where you can escape for a hot coffee and some shopping whenever the brisk Autumn air becomes a bit too much to handle.
