Taco Party started out as a taco truck, and you can still sometimes catch them cruising around the streets of Boston offering up their take on Mexican food. But they recently created a brick and mortar restaurant and I was so excited once I realized it was less than a mile from my apartment!
Tucked into a nook in Somerville’s Ball Square, Taco Party has a tiny little restaurant where they serve up vegan tacos with big flavors. Honestly, for those meat lovers out there, I suggest giving this place a try anyway because you really won’t care that the food is vegan.
My favorite thing on the menu is the torta: it is spicy and filling, with a vegan patty that is juicy and fun to chomp on. Oh, and the bread is delicious too.
The tacos are awesome and they have horchata as well. Whether you catch the taco truck as it rolls through Boston or you make the pilgrimage to Ball Square, I highly recommend getting your vegan taco fix at Taco Party.
