About me
I’m a big advocate for a rounded approach to life, meaning that I want to see the different sides of a process to understand the final product better. This is why I work in event planning for large European events, I volunteer as a catering manager at TEDxBrussels and constantly explore the city in my free time. I do all this because I’m a huge Brussels fan and I want to know each and every face this city has to offer, the local student bars in Ixelles, the open mic clubs in the center, and the institutional conferences taking place… I’m lucky that I have the opportunity to see the city from many sides and that I can choose which ones I interact with. I haven’t found my own bubble just yet, but am enjoying dipping in and out of various communities and experiences because in Brussels anyone can feel like a part of a group!

Why Brussels?
My passion in one word is multilingualism. So what better place to live in than Brussels? The border of the Germanic and Latin languages in Europe. The place where students, locals, eurocrats, internationals, and all types of immigrants meet. I love the diversity of Brussels, which is not defined by nationality but by your attitude to life. Many Bruxeloises or Brusseleirs identify themselves with the city despite all these differences in languages, backgrounds, or even walks of life. I didn’t plan to stay here but I have fallen in love with this city and I don’t think I’ll ever leave.
