The Atelier 34zero Muzeum isn't something you accidentally stumble upon, but once you're there there's little reason to leave. It has everything anyone with a little interest in any form of art would want: photographs, exhibitions, coffee, cakes, and even some animals and farming activities. It is rather small but the Atelier 34zero Muzeum is a little gem in the north of Brussels.
I love the different types of cups they offer. The café is very simple but you can enjoy the photo exhibition while sipping your drink or taking in the rays of sunshine in their garden. They have chickens walking around which makes you forget that you're in a metropolitan city of more than a million people.
They organize workshops, exhibitions, activities for young and old, and much more. It's a small team so don't expect everything to be quick or super smooth, but that's the beauty of small businesses, right? If you want to explore the city on a more local level, Atelier 34zero is the place to go!

My favorite is Spanakopita, a buttery & flaky phyllo pastry with a filling of cooked spinach and feta cheese. For dessert I recommend a slice of Bougatsa!
