It might be hard to say no to a dinner plan which includes Naan bread and Butter chicken. It might be even harder if that is combined with a cool location, fresh cocktails, and well, more Indian food. Located on a hidden corner of Chaussée d’Ixelles, Mission Masala - Bombay BBQ has recently opened its door to Indian food lovers in Brussels. Impossible not to fall in love with the decoration of the restaurant: posters, frames, and other objects which seem to belong to an old travel collection, bring a quite unique vibe to the place.
The main idea is to order different plates (meat, fish, and vegetarian options available) and share them, and I mean, who does not love that idea already? From the more traditional butter chicken in an old Delhi style to more fusion plates such as the slow-cooked pork ribs and fried chicken with madras mayo, you will just wish to have enough people at the table to order the whole menu. According to the best Indian tradition, food gets quite spicy. So why not get a refreshing cocktail to keep enjoying your dinner? We tried a homemade margarita with a mango twist: taste buds said thank you. To conclude the dinner with an even more refreshing serving, we shared a Kulfi, a homemade traditional ice cream flavored with cardamom and pistachios: we enjoyed every spoon of it. The perfect dinner plan for a late (and very warm) summer evening!

Sando is a nice nickname Japanese use for sandwiches. I love it! Sandwiches have a sauce more or less spicy and are filled with veggies and/or meat or tofu.

The "Zinneke" in Brussels is a statue of a dog that, to me, is an accurate symbol of my city with so many contrasts, but that likes to laugh about them...

There's nothing in Brussels like "Le Corbeau". It's a brasserie, a local restaurant/bar, but at night it becomes the opposite of Cinderella's fairytale...

"Bois de La Cambre" is the preferred spot for me on a sunny day in Brussels. There is more to this park than a spot to have a picnic.

"Parc Leopold" is quiet, it's small and it's hidden. It's one of my favorite places to picnic in Brussels or to rest on one of the benches.
