Looking for a tasty crêpe and don't have time to go to Brittany or Normandy? We Belgians like pancakes too. The sweet ones are the most popular and widespread, a lot of brasseries offer sweet pancakes as a dessert and it is a typical treat at children's birthday parties.
Pancakes with savory fillings are a little harder to find however. Maison des Crêpes is one of those places offering both sweet and savory fillings. The chicken basquaise is my personal favorite, just in case you would suffer from an embarras du choix (too many choices).
Enjoy your lunch/dinner or 'in between' in this cosy place with friendly service...and don't forget to order your apple cider... ;)

There's nothing in Brussels like "Le Corbeau". It's a brasserie, a local restaurant/bar, but at night it becomes the opposite of Cinderella's fairytale...

"La Cambre Abbey" is an abbey tucked away in a corner of a small square in Brussels. I'm sure most visitors never notice it. It's a precious gem.

"Bois de La Cambre" is the preferred spot for me on a sunny day in Brussels. There is more to this park than a spot to have a picnic.
