Bruxellois(e)s and visitors alike know and enjoy the Bois de la Cambre, this big green heaven right in the city. It's a wonderful place for a weekend stroll. And while I do enjoy strolling and respect fellow nature lovers who partake in sportive activities in the park, I like to have a cocktail in sight at the end of a long walk. Although Chalet Robinson is a well-known place for that purpose, my new HQ in the Bois is Le Flore.
Le Flore is just the cutest place in town. The decor is soooo cute, girly, cheerful, idyllic. If I hadn't already had an (awesome!) bachelorette party, I'd rent this place for it (yes, they do take reservations for private events). The outside space feels like an Ibiza-retro-chic place, while the inside has this retro-colorful-Hawaiian vibe. My girlfriends were so impressed when I took them there for cocktail hour - it's just the perfect summer hangout, though they're open all year long, which is a perfect remedy for the grey winters of Brussels.
You might have a bit of a hard time to find Le Flore within the Bois (thanks Google Maps!), but once you do, you will never want to leave...
