Zakura Izakaya is the second Zakura branch located in Dublin and it is my favourite sushi restaurant in the city. Regardless of whether you get the sushi to takeaway or eat in the restaurant, the standard is always the same. The staff and service is Zakura Izakaya is wonderful and their sushi is always so fresh. Zakura was recently awarded best sushi restaurant in Dublin too!
I love their hand-rolled Temaki with crab and cucumber and they have an endless supply of green tea. The staff at Zakura are very friendly, will always do their best for each customer and try to facilitate every booking enquiry.
It is possible to pick up a table for 1 or 2 people but I would recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. It is a small restaurant so the seats do fill quickly. Zakura Izakaya is also good value for a sushi restaurant and they have a great menu to choose from.
The first Zakura restaurant is located in the city centre and is also quite handy if you are in the city centre and cannot make it down to the second branch.
