If for a long time graffiti was disregarded, and even seen with certain prejudice, it has gradually become recognized as a great form of contemporary urban art.
Graffiti is often used as a provocative means of conveying certain more or less political messages, but they are also used for pure embellishment and artistic expression. In addition, as a part of public space, graffiti can also be an invitation for slowing down, for appreciating the surroundings and for taking a deep breath in contemplation.

In this post, I post the location a beautiful specimen by the artist Justus Becker. Go on a detour from your usual Mainufer stroll and venture through the less populated streets of Sachsenhausen - you won't regret it!
