Wine bars are the equivalent of jumping castles for grownups. I like wine in all kinds of colors and flavours, so when I heard there was a new wine bar in town I went wine hunting. Entering Edelrot is like entering the house of your best friend: you immediately feel at home. Or maybe that’s just me knowing there is a LOT of wine in this place.
The menu is the perfect size: not too extensive, not too short. This keeps my stress level around choosing a wine under control. After just an hour or 2 of debating we went for a red and rosé wine with nachos (hint: if you love nachos, you’ll love Edelrot!). The wine tasted very good, and that’s not just because it was wine. Their menu is original, filled with choices I didn’t know. I like trying new wines and discovering other tastes. I strongly recommend this place to all wine lovers.
Little useless fact: my name (Tahnee) rhymes with rosé. My life is complete now.
