If you are taking a walk to the West End of Glasgow, make sure to visit Ruthven Lane. Here you can find many hidden gems such as records shops and vintage stores.
My favourite is Relics, here you can really find anything, the picture confirms this. On one of my most recent trips, I met this local cat, which apparently has been around these lanes for a very long time and no, he's not for sale! My most recent purchase was a very old series of books for children dated 1937, a really nice addition to my book collection.
Relics is must-visit for all vintage stores enthusiast, you can find so many hidden treasures and, why not, maybe the perfect gift for someone? Ask the local cat and he'll guide you through the many treasures you can find in the shop!
This is the perfect spot for any locals who want to add a bit more character to their homes or for any traveller wishing to take a bit of Glaswegian character back home.
