Egg: the hero of quick, easy, tasty and healthy breakfasts. It helps with weight loss and is also a great source of protein, besides being relatively inexpensive. A Bit of Eggo in Arnavutköy takes this issue way too seriously and also carries it a step farther.
Arnavutköy is one of the most picturesque and historical neighborhoods in Istanbul. My favorite walking route is along the Bosphorus coast, from Bebek to Arnavutköy, and A Bit of Eggo is my final destination for a high protein breakfast.
The breakfast menu includes a plenty of egg varieties including eggs Benedict, omelettes, the local specialty menemen, eggo toast etc... They use only organic eggs. It's obvious that all the coffee varieties in the menu are prepared from good quality coffee.
For lunch hour, they offer a rich lunch menu, apart from egg dishes. Burgers, salads, meatball, mac’n’cheese, salmon and so on.
The place has probably the cutest outdoor seating area in a tiny garden surrounded with green plants, but for rainy and cold İstanbul days, inside is also a good option thanks to the plain and elegant interior design.
