Batard is a cool restaurant & local pub located in the Bomonti neighbourhood of Istanbul. The restaurant's interior is stylishly designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. You really enjoy its contemporary ambience, small French-style tables, open kitchen, and fancy bar.
Batard offers a diverse menu showcasing international and Turkish flavors prepared with a modern twist. Their dishes are defined as "Eclectic Cuisine". They create the menu with free and original recipes, regardless of a certain geography or technique. There are separate menus for lunch and dinner, which I sometimes find annoying. For example, their hamburger is not served in the afternoon on the weekdays, but rather more chic meat options are included.
The bar offers a menu of nice cocktails, just like the kitchen. This is a super comfortable, affordable place that can be visited daily. My choice is usually to go on Sundays. Why? I love getting lost among antiques, records, and old-smelling books in Feriköy Antique Bazaar</a>; check out my article, which is open only on Sundays and is located just opposite this place.
Batard takes you to the cafes of Paris whenever you need a day to chill with a cocktail and finger food. It is a nice choice not to be missed; check out their Instagram.
