If you are a flea market lover like me, Feriköy Antique Bazaar is the right place for you. Also known as the Bomonti Antique Market, it is open every Sunday between 9 AM and 6 PM with more than 200 stalls.
Upon entering the bazaar, you're instantly transported back in time. I always find strolling in the middle of these stands is a bit like a real treasure hunt! Imagine porcelain teacups whispering secrets of elegant tea parties from eras long gone. Each with its own unique story to tell.
The friendly vendors greet you with warm smiles, eager to share their passion for the items they have collected. How nice to chat with these people. You will find vinyls, old books and magazines, original film posters, collections of old coins, old photos, jewels, and much more... Every time I visit, I enjoy the sense of nostalgia.
To avoid the crowds, my recommendation is to go in the morning, as the Feriköy Antique Bazaar attracts thousands of visitors every Sunday. And you may have lunch in Batard, check my article, or you may try our traditional fresh pizza (we call it “Gozleme”) that is cooked and served by the sweetheart ladies just in the center of the area.
Even if you are not a fan of antiques but looking for a fun way to spend a peaceful Sunday, Feriköy Antique Bazaar is definitely worth a visit and a perfect way to spend your day. Here is their Instagram.
