Cross Fingers is a new spot which opened in 2016 in Bomonti. It's just opposite Ferikoy Organic market, set up on Saturdays.
Most people recognise their food truck from their years at festivals and concerts in Turkey. They decided to settle at a permanent address in Bomonti which I thought was a great idea. You can still see their food truck parked in front of the restaurant, by the way.
I love going to this place. First of all, the location is great, the food is really nice and the owner and waitresses are always so smiley and friendly. I spoke to the owner when they opened the place and it was nice to hear their stories.
Whenever I go to Cross Fingers, I always have chili con carne burrito but I'm sure the rest of the burgers, wraps and sandwiches are fantastic. Before you leave, ask for coffee; it is so surprisingly good you would never have expected it from a fast food restaurant.
They have wifi so you can just go and work with your laptop for hours and enjoy the food.

Turkish Tea is had after each meal, and it's a reflection of hospitality. When in Istanbul, have it at small local tea houses in Sultanahmet.
