I am not exaggerating. If "cheesecake heaven" was a real title, Dem should be carrying it.
Dem is a tea house with two branches, Karaköy and Moda. Both serve a great selection of teas and tasty snacks. But the Moda branch itself has its own specialties: cheesecakes. They serve 35 different types of cheesecakes. 35! There are even a few salty cheesecake options.
Each dessert has been created by the brilliant chef Merve Gül Şenol and all of them are inspired by a tea from the menu. Like Lapsang Souchong Cheesecake, inspired by smoked black tea or Japanese Secret Cheesecake inspired by genmaicha green tea. My favorite one is the sugar free blueberry cheesecake but I strongly encourage you to go adventurous and try something completely new.
