For all those bookworms out there - a real heaven is located in Akaretler, Besiktas.
I live nearby Minoa and there are lots of cafes around, however my feet usually take me there. They have an terrace outside in the entrance -- perfect for a sunny day. Whenever I look for a spot for work, reading, or studying, Minoa is my unerring choice. They have a menu with sandwiches and salads, perfect for a quick lunch and a wide selection of coffee and tea based beverages. Not to miss is my favourite ginger tea!
The bookstore part has a wide selection of Turkish and English titles that include novels, gastronomy, art, fashion, travel, history and so on. The little ones also love this bookstore and its huge selection of children books.
