Yell Coffee and Atelier has a relaxing vibe with is cozy and lovely ambiance. At one corner, a cat is sleeping on the magazines next to an old typewriter while someone, at another corner, is reading her book on the cozy couch in front of the bookshelves.
I have been to Yell around the opening hours on Sunday mornings, it was either only me or one more person sitting at the outdoor tables. As it t's usually not crowded, it was a perfect place for my morning coffee while watching the locals of Yeldegirmeni (including the cats :)) and enjoying the good choice of songs playing in the background. The staff is super friendly - makes you feel very welcome.
The Ice Americano here was one of the best I have had recently as it tastes less bitter and smoother compared to many others. The tahini cookie served with the coffee is so yummy, it makes you wanna come back even just for the cookies. They have a variety of desserts with healthy gluten-free or sugar-free options. I have tried a not-so-healthy one, the brownie. It was not the best brownie in town but its taste and texture were good. You can also have breakfast here with salty pastries and omelettes.
As the name implies, this place is also an atelier. They sometimes have painting and sculpture workshops, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, you can check their Instagram page for up-to-date program announcements.

Turkish Tea is had after each meal, and it's a reflection of hospitality. When in Istanbul, have it at small local tea houses in Sultanahmet.
