Yeşil Mavi Cafe offers you the best views of the Bosphorus in Üsküdar, especially during the sunset as you can see reflections of the sun on the sea, turning the color blue into shades of red and yellow. This cafe is located in Fethipaşa Korusu. Its outdoor tables are mostly under trees and provide you with the shade you need on a hot sunny day. Yeşil Mavi Cafe is a cozy place with no elegance at all. As it is a cafe in nature, beware that you might be accompanied by ants, little spiders etc.
They have a menu with many pages with options varying from traditional Turkish breakfast to main dishes, desserts and hot/cold beverages. The items on the menu are not as special as its view. I usually prefer to drink just a cold beverage and enjoy the view. One day, while we were sitting indoors, a seagull outside the window was checking out each table, stopped at ours as it realized we were eating, started knocking at the window with its beak, did not stop and asked for more until our plates were empty.
Yeşil Mavi Cafe has a playground for the children. When it is crowded on the weekends, the service is slow, and they might not let you sit in the first row if you do not go for breakfast.
