This park is an island of quietness in the courtyards of the upper Pechersk district. If you are renting an apartment in Kyiv, then it's most likely somewhere around here, because it's the best combination of price and quality. Not in the very center, but close to it, just about a 20 minute walk down the hill. That's why the rent is a bit lower. And the district itself is more cozy and quiet. That's where I live.
Anyway, the park and the stadium belongs to the University of Technologies and Design, but at the daytime it's open for everyone. This is a place where locals jog, walk their kids and babies, play football and basketball and feed the pigeons. On a sunny day there are dozens of moms sitting on a long stadium bench with their strollers. A freaky old lady is playing basketball with herself and a juggler is training his dexterity in front of curious kids. So if you are staying here somewhere then it's a good place to go for your morning jog or workout.
